Oak Tree & Acorns Fine shaped Trench art from WW1. Dated on bottom 1916, with several markings, including: lot 299, ALCO, 18HR and CFS. French Artillery shell. Brass with brass plated copper bottom. Original patina. No dents. Excellent stamping and tool work. Exact size: 11 1/2 inches high by 3 inches in diameter. Rough edge rim. Detonator plug missing from bottom. A nice example of WWI trench art suitable for any serious collection.
