Civil War Era Soldier's Buckle with Maltese Cross motif on front. Maker unknown. American buckle measures 2 3/4 by 2 inches and is in very good condition. Naturally oxidized high copper content bronze with no damage what-so-ever. Not sure whether buckle is of Union or Confederate issue. Guaranteed to be an original, vintage Civil War Era buckle. Originally part of a Colorado Civil War collection.
