Cover has shelfwear, especially along outer edges and top and bottom of spine. Bottom cover corners bumped with exposed coverboard. Top, front cover corner has exposed coverboard. Top and bottom of spine have chipping/fraying. Gold gilt lettering and design on spine have light wear. 1/2 to 1 inch tear along front top cover and back, bottom cover and spine. Brown end pages have wear. Former owner signature in pencil on front free end page. Spine split but holding along back cover. Aging and wear on additional front free end pages. Former owner signature in black in on additional front free end page. Full color pull out map of U.S. between advertising pages in front of book and Introduction. The map is approx.15 1/2 by 18 3/4 inches. It has aging and chipping along the outer left outer edge. There is also a tear where the map attaches to book. Text block has aging and occasional light foxing. Actual size of book: 5 by 7 3/4 inches. 437 pages including supplementary pages, plus approx. 5 pages of advertisements.
