Cover has gold-gilt lettering and design, clean and bright. Top corner of front and back cover have light soiling/staining. Decorative end pages clean and bright. Top corner of inside back cover has very mild water damage. Text block is clean and bright. Binding tight. Illustrated with black and white photographs. This is an extensive study genealogical history of several counties in Kansas in celebration of the bicentennial in order to further interest in the study of this history, and to preserve family records. Actual size of book: 9 by 11 1/4 inches. 608 pages, plus several full-color additional pages dedicated to the U.S. Bicentennial with reproductions of several famous illustrations including, the Crossing of the Deleware, the signing of the Declaration of Independance, etc. 1st edition.
