Boston, 1903. Original bright-blue hard-cover in good condiiton. Gold-gilt lettering and design on cover and spine is bright. Some soiling and shelf-wear on cover. Top cover corners and bottom front corner bumped. Bottom front corner is frayed to coverboard. Top and bottom of spine have shelf-wear. Decorative end-pages are in good condition. Front pages have some aging. Lettering in black and red ink. May be a page missing from front of book. Light water stain on front page through to frontispiece. Decorative title page in blue and red ink with gold-gilt border. Several of the front pages loose but holding to binding. A page in the center of the text is loose from binding. The text is written in something resembling old English and is boldly illustrated in reds, blues and gold-gilt. The book is a brief history from the point of view of the Artillery Company of London and the Artillery Company of Massachusets. Actual size of book: 9 1/2 by 12 1/2 inches. History.
