Unfinished, multi-colored, pictorial, hand beaded coin purse. Dated in beads 1909. Date, Rooster and hen on one side; and a woman feeding two birds on the reverse. No Bead loss anywhere. Purse appears unfinished and lacks a zipper. None-the-less, a nice example of American pictorial bead work from the early 1900's. The beads are very small and resemble some of the Native American beads commonly found on moccasins etc, ie. Greasy yellows and Cheyenne pinks. Purchased from a rural Colorado estate sale. Americana.
